Why this concerns me so much about this is so many people who go to certain political websites are not interested in getting “the news”, their interested in getting their ego massaged. Know how propaganda REALLY works? News flash for some of you people: It doesn’t try to convince you of what you currently don’t believe. It re-enforces what YOU WANT to believe. Its just that simple, and not seen by so many people…
Maybe it’s just me, but when I see these cutesy pictures it just makes me want to punch the screen. What are we doing here, illustrating a story book for toddlers?
All the tech bros using anthropomorphic llamas, and stuff like that? Eww.
Must be a generational thing.
If you are 3D artist you are done.
I’ve been paying $9/month using midjourney.
Thanks for posting this, Brian. I was disappointed with Dalle in the past, but maybe now it is better. Generating likable human characters was Dalle’s downfall.
Can one give an AI image generator a hand drawn image with specifics and then it creates an image that holds to those specifics? For example, I paid an artist to Blender render the following InstaBase with specific hab modules with specific dimensions and the link below is the result. Could the same now be done with AI?

Okay, Doug
That’s pretty cool.
What’s the bottom left gray trapazoid over the white geodesic dome? Everything else was apparent in usage – sleeping pods, gathering pods, geodesic pods for growing plants, etc.
Reminds me of the science fiction books I read when I was young.
